Rad8 505 - Photochromic - Prescription Lenses
In partnership with a specialist optical company Rad8 can now provide the tried and crash tested 505 frame with prescription lenses. Using the popular Rad8 505 frame, the glasses are fitted with prescription lenses to your requirements; All the lenses are impact resistant CR39 plastic, with photochromic Transitions 7 (clear to grey) lenses which will provide you the flexibility you need for trail riding in typical UK riding condition.
If you are unsure about the frame fit you can order a blank frame. This will be refunded on return.
Due to the curvature of the frame and lenses we are only able to offer the 505 with single vision lenses. If you need a bifocal or varifocal option please consider the 504 design.
For prescriptions +/- 4.5 or above he laboratory recommend ultra thin lenses, however, please drop us a line to ensure the lab can fit the lens in the frame info@rad8.co.uk

Once you have placed your order we will be in touch regarding your prescription and PD details. Once you email your prescription details over we will get the glasses made to your prescription.
Supplied with a micro-fibre soft case and EVA hard case.

All Rad8 Prescription MTB glasses use photochromic Transitions lenses and include anti-glare and anti-scratch coatings. As the prescription lenses are bespoke, they do not have the Clearview anti-fog coating but are supplied with an anti-fog cleaning cloth.
